Weekend Visitors

After getting back from the hospital on Thursday, we've had visitors in and out coming to meet Aaron and make sure we're doing ok.

Thomas, Kristen and Eli came to visit on Friday afternoon. Kristen had come down earlier in the week, but this was Uncle Thomas and Eli's first time to meet Aaron. It was nice to catch up and give Eli and Caleb time to play together. A few weeks ago, Thomas had asked if we were interested in some of Eli's surplus train toys. They planned to bring them down sometime soon. Well, a week or so ago, we were given a train table that a friend of mine was no longer using. Within a few weeks we've been blessed with some fun toys and a great play space to use them on! The boys had fun playing upstairs with those things and Caleb has been having fun with them all weekend!

Funny side note - Baby Hannah (due in October) was kicking Eli and Aaron! Feisty little niece already : )
Later that same afternoon Aunt Laura and Uncle Drew stopped by for a visit. They stayed long enough to skype with Aunt Sarah, Uncle Alex and cousin Lana in Colorado! Laura had been dying to come to town all week, but her work schedule made it too difficult during the week. She's already trying to figure out when she can come down again! (they live on the other side of Houston)

Saturday was a peaceful, family day here. I think all four of us needed to have a day of "normal". My parents did stop by to bring dinner, but they were the only visitors of the day.

On Sunday, Aunt Katy stopped by just long enough to pick up Caleb to spend the morning with her. They ran a few errands, nothing major, but it got Caleb out of the house and gave him some excitement. During the afternoon, our friends Aaron, Brandy, and Brad came to visit. Aaron and Brandy focused on baby Aaron and Brad played a lot with Caleb. With everyone coming to focus on the baby, I think it was great for Caleb to get attention too! He definitely enjoyed playtime!

Mr. Aaron and baby Aaron : )

Our weekend flew by with so many visitors. Thanks everyone for visiting and spending some time with both of our boys : )
