Caleb had his first ever soccer practice tonight! We signed him up with some friends to do a 3-4 year old league in League City. It's really relaxed, I don't even think they keep score at the games, but it's a good intro to team sports. We're really lucky to have Samir's dad, Vijay, coaching the team and Jonathan will be his assistant coach.
Tonight's practice was all about having fun! Vijay had the kids playing a few games and trying to remember no hands on the ball. Amazing how hard that concept is for little kids : ) It was a bit chilly this evening, so Caleb was in jeans and a sweater...he was bummed not to wear his soccer shorts, but I think our weather will be warming up soon and he'll be in more typical soccer gear.

There's a playground just down from our practice field...perfect for Aaron to be entertained! You can see the team practicing in the background. |

Some of the kids (including Caleb) didn't want to be done with practice, so they ran out to play some more |

Caleb didn't want to leave when practice was over and only agreed after I promised him we would get to come again next week. He's probably one of the younger ones on the team, but he's really working hard to keep up. We can't wait for his first game in a few weeks, I think that will be fun to watch!
