What a wonderful Easter! This is the first year Caleb has been old enough to be excited about Easter and I loved every minute of it! He dyed Easter eggs at school this week and had an Easter egg hunt with his class. I think those things put him in the Easter spirit and he's been excited about today ever since.
When he woke up this morning, he noticed that the Easter Bunny had visited. Instead of candy and lots of little toys, we opted to give each boy one toy, one stuffed animal, and then one toy to share. Aaron is too young to really appreciate his new toys, but Caleb played with his and Aaron's plenty today!

Checking out what the Easter bunny brought this morning. |
We quickly checked out what the Easter bunny brought and then got breakfast and left for church. After an amazing service we ran back home to get ready for family to join us for lunch.

Everyone around the table for an Easter meal...both of the boys were even there! |
After lunch came time for an Easter egg hunt!

So many adults and just 2 little egg hunters! |

Caleb was a pro! |

After our egg hunt, Caleb went down for a nap and the adults hung out for a while.
|
Grandma loved on Aaron for a while. |
|
Mal, GG, Derrill and Pops played a round of Wahoo. |
|
Grandma gave the big boy his bottle. |
|
Papa took a nap. |
|
And after Aaron's bottle, Grandma got him to take a nap too...he was so tired! |
Everyone left after the Wahoo game ended and we relaxed until the boys woke up. The rest of our afternoon was spent playing with new toys.

I loved spending Easter with Jonathan and our two sweet boys. It was such a genuinely wonderful day!
