Aunt Laura's Birthday

Yesterday was Aunt Laura's birthday! Happy Birthday, Aunt Laura! 

We had planned to get together at 4:30 for a simple pizza dinner to celebrate her birthday. Little did we know that a STRONG thunderstorm would come through right as we were trying to get going! We luckily made it over without getting too wet. Poor Laura and Drew had to stop under an overpass to avoid hail while they drove up from their day trip to Galveston. Their car escaped unharmed, but we know several people that will be replacing windshields! Thank goodness the storm passed quickly and we were able to get on with the birthday celebration!

We didn't make Aunt Laura blow out 26 candles...we gave her 2 cupcakes with 6 candles instead : )

We enjoyed our pizza and cupcakes and then Aunt Laura wanted to watch a movie she had rented. We watched the first part of Hop before it was time to get the boys home and into bed. Thankfully all the rain had stopped by then and it was a quick drive home.

We hope Aunt Laura had a great time hanging out with the boys on her birthday!
