Thursday was officially our last day of PeeWee School for the year. Instead of having our usual water day activities, we had a school field trip to the Bayou Wildlife Reserve in Alvin. The boys and I had been before with family, but it was Jonathan's first visit. We've had a beautiful, mild spring here this year, but summer decided to hit us this week. It was pretty hot and humid so we didn't last too long, but we still had a great time checking out all the animals.

We decided to find somewhere a little less crowded (and with fewer animals) to enjoy our lunch. It was also a good excuse to get in the air conditioned car for a bit! We drove over to League City park to eat our picnic lunch and play at the playground for a short while before heading home for Aaron's nap and some nice down time after a very busy week!
Yummy lunch |
Caleb's favorite spot to play |
Silly Aaron |
3 swinging monkeys! |
