Things Caleb Says...

Caleb is just now getting to the point of putting words together to form sentences. Most are just two words ("Mommy help", "More please", etc.), so Jonathan was surprised when he heard this sentence last weekend when he got Caleb out of bed after his nap.

Jonathan usually knocks as he opens Caleb's door when he wakes up, but didn't this particular time. As he opened the door, Caleb looked at him and said, "Daddy, you no knock." and then he made three clicking noises with his tongue like knocks on the door while making the hand motion for knocking.  

Jonathan came down the stairs laughing because Caleb was so serious. It was really cute : )

***Correction: Jonathan read this and then told me it needed correcting. Jonathan sneakily opened the door and crawled across the floor to Caleb's bed. He surprised him at the bed and then Caleb said "Daddy, you no knock."***
