Our first big holiday with two boys has come and gone! It's hard to believe fall has visited and the Christmas season is beginning. As I constantly seem to be asking these days... Where has the time gone?!?
Thanksgiving was a small gathering this year. Just the four of us, GG, Papa and Uncle Derrill. Since most of our holidays are large events, it was nice to have a small, simple lunch this year. GG brought the main part of the meal and I took care of some of the sides. We kept everything easy - just the way a family holiday should be!

GG, Papa and Derrill stuck around to watch an afternoon football game and then headed home to relax. The rest of the afternoon was spent pulling Christmas things out of storage and attempting not to cry at the end of the A&M - Texas football game.
Friday morning was spent mostly the same and then we got ready to go to Jonathan's Dad's house for Thanksgiving #2. Drew and Laura successfully prepared their first Thanksgiving meal and we enjoyed some time with them, Grandpa and Dao.

We had two great Thanksgivings this year and enjoyed several days of relaxing and decorating for Christmas. We're not done yet, but have a great start!
We hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!
