On our second day in Rolling Meadows we went to the Legoland Discovery Center in Schaumburg. Chicago was in the middle of a major heat wave while we were there and, unfortunately, it seems a lot of families decided the Lego center would be a good place to escape the heat. There were a lot of people and it was HOT in the building. They apparently don't have air conditioners like we do! I think Jonathan and I would have enjoyed the Lego center more and stayed longer if it weren't so crowded and hot, but the boys still had a good time. I mean, it was Legos....how bad could it be?!? After the Lego center, we went to dinner with Grandmuzz, Grandpa and Aunt Lois and then we all drove over to visit Aunt Nan. After we got back to Grandmuzz and Grandpa's house late that night a storm came through and cooled off the temperatures and we had GORGEOUS weather for the rest of our trip!
