It's a....

BOY!!!

Caleb is going to have a little brother! We are so excited to finally know! I know...I'm only 18 weeks, we haven't waited that long...but this time I really wasn't sure, so it felt like we had to wait forever to find out. I don't think I was so anxious with Caleb because deep down I knew he was a boy. This little one has kept me unsure this whole time!

I had my ultrasound on Monday morning and Jonathan was able to join me. They checked to make sure everything looked to be developing properly (everything looked great). It took a while for the technician to be able to tell the gender because baby was pressing right against the placenta and didn't want to move. It was so strange to watch this baby because Caleb was so active every time we had an ultrasound. He almost moved too much to get a good view...and this one didn't want to move enough! How funny! I wonder if that's any indication of how active this little one will be?

We are so blessed to have the opportunity to see baby boy and know he's doing well. I have been feeling him move for nearly 5 weeks already, but I only feel him occasionally (not even every day). I am looking forward to his movement becoming stronger so I can feel him often and know he's doing well.

Sometime soon I'll try to get the ultrasound pictures scanned so I can share them. As far as his name, Jonathan and I think we know, but want some time to try it out before we announce it. We'll let everyone know when we have decided for sure!

Please join us in praying for both of our boys. For Caleb that we do everything we can to help in his transition from an only child to the role of big brother and for Little Boy that he continues to develop and grow as God has intended.  Thanks for your prayers as we get further along in this pregnancy!
