Play Time

A winter cold has taken over our house this week. Jonathan caught it the worst, he spent most of yesterday in bed and wasn't around Caleb until today. Caleb has been more fussy than usual, but I don't think he's been hit too hard. We've relaxed and rested as much as possible and stayed in the house. This afternoon I could tell our household was on the mend. I watched my two boys have a fun playtime together. As a mom one of my favorite things is to watch how Jonathan and Caleb interact. Jonathan comes up with so many things that I just don't consider doing and Caleb loves playing with his Daddy.

Today, Caleb discovered himself in the mirror and played in his exersaucer for the first time! We got some great pictures, though I have to admit the last one is my favorite! I'm sure you'll see why!

Watching the camera from his exersaucer... He was pretty tired before he went in, so I'm not sure he was thrilled to be there.



Jonathan hooked his hand onto the link, but Caleb was able to pull it down a little! He's our strong little man!



Poor boy was so tired after an afternoon with Daddy, he fell asleep on his mat! Definitely the first time he's done that! : )

The beginning...

Welcome to our blog! I've been trying to figure out how best to keep Caleb's grandparents, great-grandparents, family and friends in the loop and I think this will be it! I'm also excited to document our lives as Caleb grows. So here it goes...

Caleb rolled over yesterday! Jonathan put him on his tummy in the living room and he immediately rolled over! It happened so fast, by the time I looked I could only see his head rolling. We put him on his stomach several other times during the day, but he didn't seem interested until evening when he rolled over one more time. Today he did twice as well! It's amazing to me that two days ago he wasn't even trying and suddenly it's happening! Every time we reach a milestone I am astounded at the difference one day makes!













Caleb rolled against Tiger today! He didn't seem to mind laying against a furry cat.













I guess Tiger didn't care either!
